چکیده

Paul Detrick The NEO PI-R is one of a group of closely-related objective assessment instruments (NEO Inventories) designed to measure the Five-Factor Model (FFM) of personality (Digman, 1990; McCrae & John, 1992). The FFM has received widespread acceptance as a valid descriptor of normal personality (Mount & Barrick, 1998), as well as an organizing framework for the prediction of job performance (Barrick & Mount, 1991; Hurtz & Donovan, 2000; Mount & Barrick, 1995; Salgado, 1997; Tett, Jackson, & Rothstein, 1991). The FFM served as a framework for the Screening Dimensions developed for this manual; thus, FFM-derived objective inventories such as the NEO PI-R are especially well-suited for the psychological screening of peace officers.
